The Black Dog is bringing a series of monthly dinners to the Lowertown neighborhood in celebration of our newly renovated kitchen and venue. The Pop-Ups will afford the opportunity for creativity and collaboration to the Black Dog Kitchen crew as well as other Twin Cities culinary professionals (and serious hobbyists). Pop-Ups will be complete, multi-dish, Prix Fixe meals. A limited selection of items from the Black Dog menu will also be available during Pop-Up Events.
To premier the Pop-Up dinner series, Black Dog Chef David Perez, brings his mother, Silvia Perez, into his kitchen to create a traditional Mexican Family Christmas Dinner. The menu will be homey, yet festive: Pozole with all the accoutrements, Morelian Tostadas, Chili de Arbol Salsa, and Ponche (spiked with a little Tequila, if you’re in the mood), and maybe a surprise or two!
