Mar 5, 2012 - Artists Happy Hour
| | | | |
SPRINGBOARD FOR THE ARTS and the BLACK DOG CAFE are very pleased to announce the second meeting of the ST. PAUL BUREAU OF ARTS AND BEVERAGES, Lowertown St. Paul's only (some would say "best") monthly happy hour for the Saintly City's artists and arts supporters.
WHO IS WELCOME? Visual artists, poets, writers, musicians, filmmakers, actors, playwrights, administrators, pencil-pushers, freelancers, professionals and all others livi...ng and/or working in St. Paul are welcome (as well as our brothers and sisters from the Other Side of the River). No one will be turned away, except for sworn enemies of the artists of St. Paul.
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE? The warm embrace of your friends and loved ones. A feeling of pride in the city of St. paul. Games, prizes, and general arts-related hilarity. Also: SPECIALS ON BEER AND WINE all evening long!
WHAT WILL THIS COST ME? In terms of money: nothing! It requires only a few hours of your time, and a powerful love in your heart for the artists of Old Pig's Eye. Show up anytime between 5:00 and 8:00, and prepare to interact most delightfully with a roomful of your comrades-in-arts.
HOW OFTEN IS THIS GOING DOWN? On the first Monday of every month, like clockwork (almost-Labor Day sort of through a monkey wrench into the clockwork).
WILL TRON GUY BE THERE, AS PICTURED IN THE PHOTO? While we can't rule anything out, we do not know if he has made plans to show up. I mean, we didn't invite him, per se. But Noah met him this month, and Noah can tell you what it's like to meet him. Which is the next best thing, right?
