The Black Dog Coffee and Wine Bar is also an art gallery and venue for events. The Black Dog hosts solo and group exhibitions of local artists. We review submissions on an ongoing basis with a monthly exhibition schedule. To be considered please email blackdogart@gmail.com using "Art Submission" in the subject line. Visual Artist Submission Guidelines Submissions must include:your name, 5-10 digital images OR provide a link to an online portfolio, a list of past exhibitions (if applicable), a brief artist statement of no more than 200 words (optional). Please do not submit originals: photos, slides, DVDs, CDs, etc. will not be returned. Display area is limited to wallspace. Please allow us a few weeks to respond to your submission. Prospective music performers are expected to do their "homework" in determining if their music is a proper fit with the Black Dog. Door Covers are rarely charged and any performer compensation beyond patron tips will be minimal. Musicians should submit links to digital samples of their music on websites or myspace pages to blackdogtunes@gmail.com.
